Just like her mother Dato Seri Vida, Cik B (real name Nur Edlynn Zamileen) is no stranger to criticism, especially when it comes to her image. The influencer previously came under fire when she first sported her tomboy look last year.
Her mother previously came to her defense, saying that she should be allowed to explore and express herself in her own way. Not much has changed since then as the young entrepreneur recently received more negative comments for the way she looks.

Earlier this week, Cik B posted a series of photos on her Instagram where she happily posed in front of a mirror to show off her bright yellow long-sleeve baseball jersey as well as her new eyebrow slit. “It’s been a while since I wore anything yellow,” she captioned.
While the post may seem innocent enough, netizens were quick to condemn the 17-year-old for still sporting her tomboy look. Many reminded the young actress that it is forbidden in Islam to dress up as the opposite sex and have an eyebrow slit while others advised her to look like a girl again and start wearing the hijab. Some even accused her of toying with religion.
Thankfully for the public figure, not all of the comments were bad as some have shown support by commenting on how handsome and beautiful she is. A few said that the photos remind them of US rapper Missy Elliot. At the time of writing, neither Cik B nor DS Vida responded to the backlash by netizens.
Whether or not it’s just a phase, it should be up to the teenage star to decide what to do with her life. Will she go back to looking more feminine? Only time will tell.
