Early March, fans of Japanese AV actress Yua Mikami (三上悠亜) were devastated by some life-changing news. The soon-to-be thirty-year-old revealed that her AV journey was at an end. Yup, Mikami was planning to retire!
At the time, Yua Mikami shared that she had always wanted to retire at thirty, which is relatively understandable, given the industry she was in. But, as it turns out, Mikami had another reason for her retirement. Just yesterday (1st May), Mikami introduced her boyfriend!
Mikami stunned netizens when she first uploaded a photo of herself with her previously unknown boyfriend. “About my reason for retiring…” Mikami teased in her caption. Those familiar with Mikami’s YouTube videos would have recognised him as Japanese YouTuber Kano (かの). He is allegedly ten years younger than her.
In her YouTube video, Mikami took the opportunity to properly introduce Kano to her fans. From the video alone, it was easy to see that the two were very comfortable with one another as they chatted. Mikami also thanked Kano for his company to which he later replied in the comments: “That’s what it is.”
Kano and Yua Mikami have reportedly collaborated on other videos, with one showing Mikami attempting to “seduce” Kano, while they went on a date at Universal Studio Japan in another. Kano also allegedly has told Mikami that she is very much his ideal type.

Fans and netizens have been very supportive of their relationship. Most have been wishing them happiness and claiming the duo seem much happier together. We too would like to with both Yua Mikami and her new boyfriend all the best for their relationship!
