Over the weekend, Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Idris ibni Sultan Ibrahim, took to his Twitter to share that he had spotted a huge crocodile swimming in the waters in front of his beach residence.
According to the Johor prince, he and his kids went for a swim in front of their house. Just an hour later, he spotted a crocodile swimming along in the exact spot. “Went for a swim in front of the house. An hour later, a friend swam by,” TMJ tweeted.

TMJ also shared with his followers a video, which showed the outline of the huge crocodile as it swam around in the water. The post has since gone viral and captured the attention of netizens. Most of them were concerned about the safety of the Prince and his children. To quote some of the commenters, “Thankfully nothing bad happened. God bless the whole family. Stay safe and stay alert, Your Highness.”
Not too long after that, Johor’s Department Of Wildlife And National Parks (Perhilitan) said that they will be launching an investigation on the matter. “Crocodiles will usually move from one river mouth and enter another river mouth through the coast. We will investigate further regarding the discovery,” Director Aminuddin Jamin stated.
We’re glad that nobody was harmed during the incident. How would you react in this situation?
