The last thing anyone would want to see when they’re dining out is people fighting. But unfortunately, sometimes, these things are unavoidable as there have already been a few cases where people just started throwing punches in public spaces.
Previously, there was a case in which customers ended up in a physical fight with a restaurant manager over a food complaint. Now, another fight was recently caught on camera and this time it was between two restaurant employees. Watch:

Twitter user @khairulazizi75 posted a video yesterday evening (Monday, 3rd April) showing a physical altercation that took place at the BananaBro restaurant outlet in Central i-City, Shah Alam. The fight was believed to be between two staff members; one male manager and one female manager. As seen in the video above, the two staff members in black uniforms were literally at each other’s throats while the ones in green uniforms tried to separate the two.
As if throwing punches at each other wasn’t bad enough, the woman tried to throw a chair at her co-worker before another staff member intervened and took the chair away from her. In a fit of rage, the male manager was also seen throwing utensils at the female staff member. The waiters in green tried their best to calm the situation by pulling the two managers as far away from each other.
The tweet garnered a lot of attention from netizens as it went viral with now over 540k views, 400 retweets, and nearly 200 quotes. Netizens were both concerned and amused by the altercation with some being curious about what triggered the fight while others felt that the man should not have hit his female colleague. There were also those who made light of the situation by cracking jokes.
After the incident went viral, Bananabro took to Instagram to address the situation. “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the unforeseen incident. We are taking corrective measures towards all parties involved in this incident,” the company wrote.
The restaurant ended its statement by saying that it’ll continue its efforts in ensuring customers that they’ll have a great dining experience at all outlets. Let’s hope something like this doesn’t happen again.
