Last night (Sunday, 2nd April), local singer Shah Indrawan, better known as Tomok, encountered an unfortunate incident when his youngest daughter, Siti Khadijah accidentally spilled nail polish on a few branded shirts and jeans. As a result, he had to fork out RM5,593 for the stained clothes.
According to Tomok, the incident took place when he and his family visited a Levi’s Outlet in The Gardens Mall to do some Raya shopping. The New Boyz crooner revealed in a video posted on his Instagram, “Me and my family went to The Gardens Mall to break our fast here. (After our dinner) at around 9:30pm, my wife wanted to purchase some jeans.”
“However, something unexpected happened when my daughter spilled some nail polish on not one, but four pairs of jeans which cost RM1,299. It also spilled over on a few T-shirts worth RM499 and RM899,” the “Meraung” singer added in the post. Due to the mishap, Tomok had to pay for the damage caused before leaving the fashion outlet.
“I couldn’t just leave the shop. After the staff gave some discount, the bill came up to a total of RM5,593 for the jeans and the shirts. The nail polish only left little stains on the clothes, but I understand that this is part of the shop’s rules. This is probably a test for me since Hari Raya is approaching,” Tomok expressed.
At the end of the video, Tomok revealed that he will be reselling all the items at a lower price. “I’d like to ask for your help. I want to resell these clothes because they are not my size. It’s okay, I’ll pay for it first since this falls under my responsibility.”
“Please pray for me. To those who are interested in buying, do drop me a text. I won’t be selling these items at their original prices,” the “Gegar Vaganza” alum said. It’s understood that the Levi’s clothing that Tomok is reselling is from the high-end denim brand’s Vintage Collection.
