Dato’ Sri Aliff Syukri is back with another Hari Raya song to jam! Last night, he took to Instagram to share a snippet of his upcoming single called “Cak Kun Cak Raya”, just in time to celebrate the festive season.
In the video posted on his socials, Aliff and the male dancers were dressed in what appears to be a spandex bodysuit, replacing the traditional Baju Melayu outfit. As revealed by the singer himself, the official music video for the song will drop next week.

“Make way for the number one trending Raya song for 4 years in a row – ‘Cak Kun Cak Raya’. Hopefully, this song will be the ray of sunshine for you to celebrate the upcoming festive season. From, Malaysia’s number one artiste,” the D’Herbs founder wrote in the caption.
Unsurprisingly, the teaser has caused a huge outcry among netizens. A lot of them were frowning on the bodysuit outfit donned by Aliff and his dancers in the video. “Is it flooding this Raya? You look like you’re standing by to take a dip,” fashion designer Hatta Dolmat questioned. “Do you want to celebrate Raya or to go swimming? Can we postpone this year’s Hari Raya?” another netizen wrote. Others even compared them to Power Rangers!
It looks like Aliff hasn’t learned from the past controversy surrounding his “Kelepuk Raya” MV last year.
