Chinatown Cultural Walk

Teresa Teng Tribute Concert 70th Anniversary
This concert will pay homage to the renowned singer through her classic hits. Teng recorded 1,700 songs and sold over 48 million albums. Her music has transcended borders, cultural and language barriers, and was recorded in various Chinese dialects, Japanese, Indonesian, Italian, and English, allowing her music to reach a global audience. In 1986, she was named ‘one of the greatest female singers in the world’ by Time magazine.
Among the songs that will be presented by the MPO and Jia are Goodbye My Love, So Sweet, The Story of a Small Town, Star, Thousands of Words, May All Be Well and The Moon Represents My Heart, notably Teng’s most celebrated song that has become iconic in Chinese culture.
