The Great Era Of Piracy Asia Tour Exhibition
The first and largest anime-based experiential exhibition in Malaysia is now open!
From now till May 8th, 2023, visitors can experience the largest One Piece experiential exhibition in Malaysia, held at the Pavilion Hall at Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Resorts World Genting, from 10am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Visitors are encouraged to book their tickets in advance and choose their preferred time slots for the morning, noon, or evening to ensure a smooth and hassle-free tour.
Thematic zones will include exclusive life-size FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) sculptures of beloved One Piece characters such as Luffy, Katakuri, Yamato and many more. One of the zones will also include a 180-degree immersive interactive mini-theatre showcasing Luffy’s 25 years of adventures with the Straw Hat Crew which will bring back memories for true fans. The exhibition will also feature the largest, brand-new 3D sculpture of the Onigashima raid, complete with breathtaking fights like the epic showdown between Luffy and Kaido. This awe-inspiring sculpture is being unveiled for only the second time in the world, making it a must-see for all the fans.
Explore the exhibition’s 21 thematic zones, spanning an impressive 25,000 sq feet (the size equivalent to half a football field), to witness their favorite One Piece characters come to life in thrilling fights from the anime series, brought to the exhibition in vivid detail. This is a unique opportunity to experience an unforgettable, 45 to 90 minute tour, complete with interactive exhibits, authentic pirate artifacts, and engaging multimedia displays. Day Hike Trans Bukit Batu Kumbang & Chenuang
If you’re looking for a healthier way to spend the weekend, look no further than Hulu Langat for a good hiking session. Located in Hulu Langat, Bukit Chenuang is a mountain next to Gunung Nuang, its larger sibling. Bukit Chenuang itself is a moderately difficult trek, but the peak offers a fantastic vista as a reward. Bukit Batu Kumbang, which is less known among hikers and sits 700 metres above sea level, will provide you an even better perspective. MPO: Happy Birthday Rachmaninoff
In celebration of Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday, The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is putting on a massive concert for the well-known classical composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff, themed ‘Happy Birthday Rachmaninoff’. The concert will take place on 1st April & 2nd April 2023 at the Dewan Filharmonik. The concerts are also part of the MPO’s 25th anniversary this year, which celebrates glorious masterpieces from the classical music world.
The MPO also welcomes back Tokyo-born maestro Junichi Hirokami to the podium in these concerts; he has conducted the MPO in the previous seasons.
