Song Ji Hyo (송지효) has always been known for her kind and generous demeanour. Previously, she garnered attention after a video of her comforting a crying fan during a meet-and-greet session went viral. Just when we thought we couldn’t love her more, we learned that the 41-year-old also knows how to communicate using sign language!
For context, Ji Hyo was in Malaysia for two days for the Watsons K-Beauty Festa that took place in Sentul Depot this past weekend. A few lucky fans were able to meet the “Running Man” star in person. However, what caught the attention of netizens is this video showing Ji Hyo communicating with a disabled fan.

The video was posted by TikTok user @sngmsyn. “Song Ji Hyo knows how to use sign language, she uses it to communicate with her fans😭😭 She’s really the sweetest and best girl!!” the fan wrote in the caption. Ji Hyo can also be seen getting up from her seat to hug the woman’s children and snapped some pics with the family. The video quickly went viral, garnering a whopping 1 million views on the platform.
Upon seeing the heartwarming interaction, many fans praised Ji Hyo for her sweet attitude towards the fans. “This makes me love her even more. She’s very kind-hearted,” one netizen on TikTok wrote. “This is rare, not many people know how to use sign language including myself. Song Ji Hyo is indeed a very special person. God bless her,” another fan added.
