As the kissing rhyme goes: “First comes love, then comes marriage, Then comes baby in a baby carriage.” Well, celebrity couple Choo Hao Ren (朱浩仁) and Gladish Chan (陳祤琹) have been following that to the letter.
Just last year April, Hao Ren proposed to Gladish, and they tied the knot a few month later. Shortly after that, Hao Ren and Gladish revealed good news. Gladish was pregnant with their first child. And yesterday (9th March), Gladish gave birth to a baby girl!
Yesterday, Gladish was holding a Q&A session on her Instagram, claiming her baby was almost ready to come out. She later shared she was experiencing contractions and was certain her baby would come soon. True enough, sometime that evening, Hao Ren took her to the hospital to give birth!
“It happened so suddenly,” Gladish shared later. “It took less than a few hours after the contraction to (go to) the hospital and then into the delivery room. (But), baby Tara has come into the world!” Gladish was also happy that the birth went smoothly. “The process did not (need) induced birth, drip or (pain reliever),” Gladish said. She had also been surprised by how much pain she could tolerate.
Hao Ren later added he had felt extremely “helpless and useless” during the birth. “I could only watch from the sidelines and give (moral) support,” he sighed. “I just want to say that my mother is the greatest. Gladish has worked hard, all mothers in the world have worked hard.”
However, the couple are extremely happy with their newborn child. “I am a brave mother starting today,” Gladish shared. “When the baby came out and I heard her cry (and) the moment the nurse put her on my chest, it really felt like everything was worth it.” In her Instagram Story, Gladish added that she simply couldn’t keep her eyes off little Tara.

Fans and friends have since flocked to their socials to congratulate the couple. Gladish has also promised a video of Tara’s birth, to allow others to witness Tara’s arrival in this world. Well, we too would like to congratulate both Gladish and Hao Ren and wish them well as they start their journey as a family of three!
