Other than acting, Raja Atiq is known for being vocal about certain topics. Despite appreciating the support he gets from male fans, the actor has made it clear that he’s very much against the LGBTQ+ community. In a recent IG story, the Malaysian celeb expressed his approval of a woman’s act of burning the pride flag.
“I 100% support what this woman did. I’m sure there are those out there who will still defend this group of people,” he said in the IG Story. The post sparked some heavy debate among netizens but the discussion didn’t just end there as the “Nur” star got into a heated argument with 2 individuals.

After Raja Atiq posted the controversial IG story, two netizens called him out for his homophobia. The first netizen who goes by Adam Rayyan Mikaayel replied to the actor’s story and accused him of using the LGBTQ+ community for clout. The netizen asked him to mind his own business to which the 21-year-old told him that he was overreacting.

Not satisfied with the DM he received, the Kelantan-born celeb exposed the man in an IG story to warn him to watch his mouth or face the consequences, as seen in the video above. The healthcare worker then decided to pull out some receipts and showed screenshots of his conversation with Raja on Instagram. From the photos posted, the “Lecturerku Oppa” star apparently tried to video call the netizen multiple times to settle the argument.
Things quickly escalated when the public figure once again exposed the netizen by tagging him in several IG stories as seen in the screenshots provided in the thread by the netizen. Not wanting to drag the issue any further, Adam Rayyan chose to end the discussion.
Prior to the incident above, another individual called him out for the controversial Pride flag-burning post. As seen in the screenshot above, the netizen who goes by @reezal_rosli defended queer individuals who work in the entertainment industry and told Raja Atiq to mind his manners. The actor responded to the comment claiming that he fully respects those in the industry and that the netizen was just spewing nonsense.
At the time of writing, there have been no further comments by the Malaysian actor nor the netizens who called him out. What do you think about this back-and-forth argument?
