Award season is still underway and everyone has been looking forward to see their favourite celebrities’ names engraved on those trophies. Apart from the Academy Awards which will soon take place next month, one of the most highly-anticipated award ceremonies is the annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards that happened earlier today (Monday, 27th February).
Many amazing actors were nominated for the prestigious award this year and it’s no surprise that the cast of “Everything Everywhere All At Once” came out victorious. One of the cast members even celebrated their win by giving this Malaysian icon a kiss on the lips!

It was definitely no surprise that US actress Jamie Lee Curtis was one of the stars nominated for her role in the hit movie “Everything Everywhere All At Once” in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role category at the 29th annual SAG Awards. The star who wore a red dress was announced as the unexpected winner of that category and she celebrated by sharing a kiss with Dato Michelle Yeoh!
What better way to celebrate your achievement than to kiss a fellow actor, right? Cameras managed to capture the candid lip-lock moment during the live broadcast where the Malaysian actress was seen happily screaming and cheering for her co-star’s win.
The impromptu kiss garnered all kinds of reactions from netizens on social media with most being positive saying that they were jealous that the 64-year-old actor got to kiss their idol. Some even referenced the two star’s characters’ relationship from one of the universes in their box office hit.

The two celebs kissing wasn’t the only historic moment of the night. Both co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan became the first-ever Asian actors to win a SAG Award in their respective categories; Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role!
