Lead vocalist Matt Bellamy, together with Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme recorded a short clip to share the exciting announcement with Malaysian fans yesterday. It’s been 16 long years since the band last performed in Kuala Lumpur, back in 2007.

“We are proud because Kuala Lumpur is part of this tour, and one of the exclusive (tour stop) in Asia. Hello Universe hopes that this upcoming showcase can help nudge relevant ministries to really look at the potential of how entertainment events are able to be the catalyst to drive tourism,” said Hello Universe CEO Adam Ashraf. The organiser is expecting between 50,000-60,000 pax for this anticipated concert. As such, it’ll most likely be held in an outdoor stadium.
Hello Universe will also be holding an upcoming band audition. “Muse themselves will select the local band that will perform as their opening act in Kuala Lumpur, and the terms and conditions will be disclosed soon,” Adam added. Here are the details to Muse’s “The Will of the People” tour in Malaysia:
