Last week, singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza took to her Instagram to share with her followers about an accident involving her firstborn child, Siti Aafiyah. The four-year-old had to undergo a minor surgery after falling off her scooter.
Following the surgery, TokTi shared an update on Aafiyah’s condition. She wrote, “Praise God, the process in the operation theatre went smoothly. Thank you to the specialists in Gleneagles KL. God willing, Aafiyah will fully recover soon.” She also thanked everyone, including Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Maimunah, for their warm wishes.
TokTi later went live on Instagram detail the incident. “I was getting ready when I heard Aafiyah’s voice crying in pain. I went down and checked on her chin. The cut was quite deep, so it required some stitching. Luckily I wasn’t panicking when I saw the blood,” the “Si Comel Pipi Merah” songstress recalled.
During the broadcast, TokTi was also asked about her husband, Datuk Khalid Mohamad Jiwa’s response. “How did Datuk K reacted after Aafiyah fell down? I was scolded. But I just stayed silent because I was the one who’s at fault here. Two days before the incident took place, he voiced his concern about Aafiyah riding the scooter without wearing a helmet.”
After the unfortunate incident, the 44-year-old said that she had thrown the scooter away, as she’s worried that the same thing might happen to her son, Afwa. For those who are interested, you can watch the full broadcast here:
