Travelling can definitely be an amazing experience. But, while some places are nice to visit, not everywhere feels like home. Luckily, for Hong Kong actress Vicky Chan (陈思圻), she’s apparently managed to find a home away from home, here in Malaysia!
Vicky recently visited Malaysia for Chinese New year and one of the places she dropped by was Penang. The actress seemingly had a lot of fun here and loves the place. To our pleasant surprise, Vicky apparently felt so at home here, a netizen mistook her for being a Malaysian Chinese!
Vicky’s recent trip to Malaysia was evidently an eventful one. In fact, the actress enjoyed it so much, she documented her time her on her Instagram. What truly caught netizens’ eyes however, was her post of her time in Penang.
The photos showed Vicky dressed in a simple outfit of a sleeveless shirt and a miniskirt while wandering the Penang streets. The actress had also snapped photos of herself with her parents posing in iconic locations and enjoying the CNY festivity. “I’ll be back, Penang,” she promised in the captions.

Many netizens were delighted Vicky had stopped by, while others were pleased with how comfortable Vicky looked here. As it turned out, Vicky looked so comfortable, someone thought she was a Malaysian! “Are you a Malaysian Chinese?” the comment read and Vicky responded, “No, but I love Malaysia very much.”
Well, we certainly look forward to Vicky returning to Malaysia eventually! In the meantime, we sincerely hope she enjoyed her stay here. Who knows? One day, netizens may be lucky enough to spot Vicky around Malaysia!
