No one is safe from harassment, not even men. What’s more concerning is, celebrities – especially women – are almost always getting themselves exposed to several forms of harassment from the public.
Francisca Luhong James took to her Instagram to share a traumatising experience she had after she was harassed by a male stalker recently. According to the Miss Universe Malaysia winner, the incident happened at the Four Seasons Hotel in KL yesterday.
“I was at the Four Seasons Hotel, just done with my spa appointment. I was on my phone while heading toward the lobby to book a GrabCar ride. But as I just sat on the sofa in the lobby, I looked in front of me and I saw him again. The same person, same outfit, just a different coloured cloth on his shoulder. The worst part was I saw him putting something on his neck, like oil or something!” shared the former beauty queen.
Fran then added, “I was so afraid, I proceeded to the Starbucks inside the building and called a friend of mine who knew the director of security in Four Seasons. I didn’t see him following me from the back because I walked really fast.” However, it’s revealed that the guy did follow her from behind and even entered the café. “He was looking left and right through the glass window, saw me and of course, he decided to come inside the Starbucks and sat at the other end,” shared the public figure.
Fran later said that the security officers arrived on the scene and attempted to arrest the culprit. Though, it was revealed that the guy had managed to flee the premise. “Not long after the director of security came, that lunatic left straight away. They tried to go after him, but he left the premise really fast.” Apparently, this wasn’t the first time she had encountered such a frightening incident. She revealed that she had been harassed by the same guy last year sometime during the KL Fashion Week season.
