Oh dear… Lucinta Luna was admitted to the Mayapada Hospital in Jakarta this past weekend. Apparently, she was rushed to the medical centre due to bleeding problems in her gum and her throat.
The Indonesian trans celeb took to her Instagram to share a pic of her lying on a hospital bed. She also lamented about not being able to attend BLACKPINK’s concert tour in Bangkok due to her illness.
In a subsequent post, Lucinta uploaded a video of her undergoing physiotherapy session with the doctor. “Dear God, hopefully I can eat and drink normally again. Currently undergoing physiotherapy with @dhannigustiana from the @mayapadahospital so that the swelling in the gums quickly flattens and does not get to my inflamed nerves 😭. Every time I do the treatment, there will be red liquid coming out,” she revealed in her post.
So far, the cause of Lucinta’s illness has yet to be disclosed. However, it appears that some netizens were quick to leave their speculations. In this case, many claimed that it was the side effects of her tracheal shave procedure. In case you don’t know, the 33-year-old underwent an Adam’s apple reduction surgery back in July, presumably to appear more feminine.
As a result, the comments section on Lucinta’s post was flooded with netizens giving their two cents. To quote one commenter on Instagram, “That might be the side effects of your surgical procedure. We’re not entirely sure what chemical substance was put into your body. This is a reminder for us to be more grateful.” Another netizen added, “Don’t change God’s creation that He had gifted you. Even if you want to alter your appearance, please don’t resort to that (surgery).”
