It’s a shame that female celebs’ “controversies” can just stem from simply wearing comfortable clothing. Other than her entrepreneurship, Dato Seri Vida is also known for her many controversies. She caused quite a scene when she hung out with trans celeb Lucinta Luna in KL last year and who can forget her infamous booty-shaking video with Kak KM? Now she’s getting slammed for showing off her “assets”? Here’s what happened:
To be honest, the last thing one would expect DS Vida to promote is a slimming product. Some even found it uncomfortable to see the “I Am Me” singer promote her Krim Kempis slimming product. In the video, the entrepreneur can be heard saying that one does not need to wear skimpy clothing to show off a slim body. “You don’t need to wear something tight to show that you’re skinny or dress sexily to show you have a beautiful body. You don’t have to show off your assets,” she said in the video.
She added that one only needs to show that they have a flat stomach after using her Krim Kempis gel. In the video’s caption, the mother-of-four claimed that the product is effective as she does not need to wear tight clothing to show that she has lost weight after using the product.
Netizens, however, are not entirely convinced about the product’s efficiency. Moreover, they also expressed their dissatisfaction with the way DS Vida promoted the product. Many did not hold back and criticised the celebrity mother for showing off the shape of her body in a dress they believe to be tight, contradicting her own words. Others suggested that her daughter Cik B should try it as a testimony.
As seen in the screenshots, one even accused the entrepreneur of overexaggerating what the product can do. At the time of writing, DS Vida has yet to respond to or comment about the insensitive and brutal comments by netizens.
