It isn’t easy to switch careers. It’s even harder if you already have a reputation for said career. Nonetheless, OnlyFans content creator Gatita Yan has been determined to succeed in her new profession as a DJ. Unfortunately, people, including another fellow DJ, have been more critical than supportive.
Gatita aka Tong Lee Yan recently performed for a New Year’s Eve party in Resorts World Genting. While it seemed like she gave it her all, netizens were quick to criticise her performance, with a few even claiming she was only entertaining herself. Luckily, some fans were quick to explain what really happened.
According to the owner of the post, Gatita’s recent gig had been an exciting one, with many in attendance. From the added video, it was clear to see the budding DJ had been enjoying herself. Gatita could be seen hyping the crowd up and dancing to the song.
However, what baffled people was that she wasn’t dancing to the beat. In fact, it didn’t even seem as though she was performing as netizens could only hear a live band playing. “Is she high (by herself)?” one netizen asked dryly. “As long as Gatita isn’t embarrassed,” another quipped. “The ones who are embarrassed are the netizens.” A few others even jeered, saying Gatita should just return to doing OnlyFans.
Fortunately, some netizens were quick to clarify the situation. They urged people to look carefully at the video, pointing out the glass separating the cameraperson from Gatita’s gig. “They aren’t in the same place,” one said. The owner of the post themselves added that they were inside a place with a live band playing while Gatita was outside.
Well, we suppose one cannot truly judge Gatita’s performance as a DJ unless they were there to witness it. Hopefully, she will manage to win them over in time with her passion for being a DJ. In the meantime, we’re sure Gatita will keep her head high and continue doing her best!
