In this day and age, people like to film their day-to-day lives and post it on their social media. Sometimes, some of the things they do are heartwarming and it’s a story worth sharing with others.
Just recently, a video on TikTok went viral when a local Nasi Lemak seller gave away free Nasi Kerabu to an elderly Chinese man. This Nasi Lemak stall seller who goes by the name Cik Sue Gebu has since been updating the condition of an elderly man.

In this particular viral TikTok video, the elderly Chinese man was seen visiting the Nasi Lemak stall after being MIA for three days. The elderly man seemed confused when the TikToker explained that his favourite Nasi Lemak had sold out. So instead of giving him the usual Nasi Lemak, she gave him Nasi Kerabu with seafood instead.
According to MStar, this uncle has been visiting the stall for food almost every day since 2017. He would buy two packs of Nasi Lemak, one for him and the other for his wife. But in early 2022, the seller noticed that he’d only buy one pack for himself, which led her assume that the wife is no longer here.

After the video went viral, an anonymous donation was given to Cik Sue for her to buy essentials for the elderly man. She then made two separate videos to update the public. When she arrived at the elderly man’s house, she was greeted by a friendly neighbour who explained the story about the elderly man’s condition.
Apparently, he still has a wife but because of his condition, it seems like she could no longer cope with caring for him anymore. Whenever the man brings home food, she would apparently throw it all away. Due to his forgetful condition, he would still continue the habit of bringing food home every day.

She wrote in the second video, “It’s heartwarming to see how Uncle cares for Auntie so much. Even though Auntie kicked him out, he still sleeps in front of Auntie’s house. Even though no one takes care of him, he still wants to buy food for Auntie.”
Scrolling through the TikTok comments, many are happy to see Cik Sue doing such a good deed. One netizen commented, “If I see videos of elderly men like this, I’m automatically reminded of my own father, then I’ll cry. I pray my father is healthy always.” Another commented, “There’s actually a lot of good people. If you can’t find one, then be one.”
