Most of us tend to look for excitement in our lives. After all, we all need something to brighten up our days, right? But, truth be told, excitement eventually gets tiring too. And, some day, we just want to settle down and enjoy a quiet life. Well, Chinese actor Fong Gong (方刚, 梁芳纲) certainly achieved that.
Fong Gong reportedly left the show business in the 1990s and has rarely appeared in the public eye since. Still, in recent years, Fong Gong has been keeping his fans updated on his life. And most have been delighted to discover the 74-year-old is doing extremely well!

The former actor has always been well-known for his stunning performances in villain roles in Hong Kong films. Despite his success in the film business, Fong Gong eventually decided to retire and live out his days in peace. We can’t say it wasn’t a good idea, especially since he’s apparently living a life of luxury!
Fong Gong usually uploads photos from his daily life on his socials. While he isn’t married, he doesn’t lack for visitors. Fong Gong can usually be seen playing with his relatives’ children in photos and simply spending time with his family. Additionally, each photo offers a glimpse of Fong Gong’s rather impressive mansion. The interior looks resplendent with plenty of tasteful decorations placed about the mansion.
While he may be living out his days peacefully now, Fong Gong did have a health scare a few years ago. The former actor reportedly suffered from an obstructive pulmonary disease and experienced an acute heart failure. At that time, he even had to be put on oxygen support. Thankfully, he did recover, although he was wheelchair bound then. Still, after a long recovery period, Fong Gong is now doing much better.

Fong Gong may be best remembered for his villain roles. However, his acting skills in shows like “The Silver Tycoon (银狐)”, “The Challenge of Life (人在边缘)” and “Days of Glory (豪门)” have endeared him to his fans. We sincerely wish him well as he continues to spend the rest of his days in peace!
