Having a car nowadays is more of a necessity than a luxury, unless you’re into luxury cars. Owning a car is also a privilege that many may not have. Regardless of what model or brand the car may be, they’re definitely not cheap, and if you’re like most people, it can take you up to a decade to finish paying off your wheels.
But some people are lucky enough to own one at such a young age. Celebrities obviously can afford to gift a car to their children after they reach a certain age, while others worked hard to own the possessions they have now. Most people can’t wait to get a car after obtaining their license – but this kid didn’t even have to wait or get a license to get his car.
Remember that woman who got the surprise of a lifetime when her boyfriend got her a sparkly pink Porsche for her birthday? That certainly got people talking about how lucky she is. Joining her in getting the surprise of a lifetime is this young boy – Amaran – who got a Nissan GT-R R35 for his 10th birthday. 10TH BIRTHDAY?! Yup, you read that right.
A video posted on TikTok by user @9tripleone showed a lorry carrying the Nissan car driving up to what appears to be a car showroom somewhere in KL. The lorry arrives with a special guest – Optimus Prime from the “Transformers” franchise – to greet the lucky birthday boy and his family, after which the birthday present was revealed.
Part two of the video shows the boy’s reaction when Optimus Prime presents him with the keys to his Nissan GT-R R35. As seen in the video, the child is left speechless after finding out that his family had given him a car for his birthday. After checking out the luxury vehicle, the boy cut his birthday cake and enjoys the rest of the celebration with his loved ones.
Amaran wasn’t the only one who was lost for words after getting his birthday present, as netizens in the comments section were just as surprised as he was. Of course, many were very happy for the 10-year-old for having a family who can afford to give him such a luxurious birthday present.
Even though the car is his, unfortunately, Amaran will have to wait a few more years before he can actually get behind the wheel. But it’ll probably be worth the wait, we reckon. Happy Birthday, Amaran!
