Most people would treat themselves and others to something nice and fancy from time to time whenever they can afford to. For those who can afford luxurious items and holidays, by all means, spend your money however you like. As long as you’re not causing harm or flexing your wealth too much, then proceed to live your life as you wish.
That being said, it’s not out of the ordinary for people to question what others are doing with their wealth and their reason for spending large amounts of money on things most would consider unnecessary. Speaking of which, would you spend thousands of ringgit on McDonald’s? Because this man most likely did.

TikTok user @mosharhan posted a video earlier this month that has been going viral lately. The video has now reached 2.1 million views, 152.9k likes, and 1.4k comments at the time of writing. The video shows a man ordering at a McDonald’s outlet using the self-service kiosk. Nothing out of the ordinary, except when zoomed in, we can see that the man spent over RM4k (RM4,163.20 to be exact) worth of McD meals!
It is currently unknown if the man in question is the user himself, or if he was just a random stranger at the outlet. Either way, it’s safe to assume that the man in the video is loaded. It is also unknown which McD outlet he was ordering from, or if he actually checked out all the items he selected.
Netizens took to the comments section to give their thoughts on the situation. Many were baffled as to why this customer is spending so much money on McD, while others felt sorry for the kitchen staff having to prepare virtually a lifetime’s worth of food. According to the TikTok creator, the man apparently ordered up to RM6K worth of food and drinks!
At the time of writing, there is still no update from @mosharhan about the mysterious, rich McD customer. While the man’s purchase is good for the restaurant’s business, we can only imagine what was going through the McD staff’s minds when they saw the order. Hopefully, they’re okay.
