Here’s a question: How would you react if you by chance boarded the same flight as a famous celebrity? Well, one Malaysian was lucky enough to be in close proximity with K-drama heartthrob Lee Jae Wook (이재욱) recently – only, she didn’t know it!
Noor Hayati Kamarzaman – the elder sister of business mogul Aliff Syukri – sparked a frenzy on social media over a video shared on her TikTok, recently. In the video, Hayati and her family are seen boarding the same flight as Jae Wook!

It’s understood that at the time, Hayati, or Yatie for short, was on her way from South Korea to KL. She was filming her daughter when Jae Wook appears in the background, talking to a flight attendant. “No wonder he looked cautious when I walked past him, while I was going live on the flight. I didn’t get the chance to interview him on behalf of all of you,” Yatie said. She added that both she and her husband had no idea that the guy a few seats away from them was a Korean artiste.
Needless to say, Yatie’s post immediately caught the attention of the internet. Netizens expressed joy for her, with some remarking on how lucky her family was to be on the same flight as the “Alchemy Of Souls” star! “Why didn’t you ask for a selfie with him? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!” one commenter wrote. Another fan added, “You are so lucky. While others waited for Jae Wook’s arrival at the airport, you were able to meet him in person.”
