One thing about breakups that people don’t often share is how absolutely traumatising they can be, especially if you’ve been together with someone for many, many years. The trauma can cause you to be more guarded so you’ve put up walls to protect yourself from ever experiencing the pain again. Even if the wound heals, the scar will remain.
Last month, it’s been speculated that actress Janna Nick and actor Dini Schatzmann have gone their separate ways. Since the alleged breakup, the “Gatal” singer posted cryptic photos, videos, and stories on her Instagram that indicated the separation. She even went on a trip to Europe to heal herself. While some sympathise with the celeb, others have been fed up with her sad updates.
Yesterday (Thursday, 1st December), actress and singer Janna Nick posted a video of a screenshot photo of a DM she received from a netizen on her Instagram. The message showed the netizen apparently being annoyed with the 27-year-old for constantly posting her sad yet ambiguous quotes and photos since her breakup with the Malaysian actor.
“You’re so annoying. You broke up, just let it go. It makes you look bad. Have some respect for your ex and the relationship you had. They were good memories too, stop focusing on the bad ones,” the message reads. The screenshot was accompanied by the singer singing a very sad tune of an original song while crying, possibly written after the breakup.
The lyrics roughly translate to: “I thank you my faithful Sun, For once filling up this empty heart, For embracing me when times were dark, Now I’ve come to realise this love isn’t everlasting, And my unfortunate soul is lost, forever wandering.” The second slide to the IG post showed a black-and-white photo of the actress standing in front of what appears to be a historical building.
In the captions, Janna apologised to her followers for her eye-soaring posts and admitted she was not strong enough to handle the situation. However, she promised her fans that she’ll come back stronger. “Only time will heal,” she said. Just like her previous posts before, the “Juang” star disabled the comments section.
Heartbreaks will take some time to heal. We hope Janna is taking all the time she needs and that she’ll feel better soon.
