YouGov, the British international Internet-based market research and data analytics firm, has finally released this year’s best brands in Malaysia! Compiling a list of the best and most talked about brands, they rank them in terms of overall brand health according to consumers in Malaysia.

So, if you’re wondering what brands have been poplar this year, YouGov has complied a list of what Malaysians actually love and use all the time! Scroll down to read more.

Scoring way ahead of Milo, Shopee – the e-commerce platform – comes out highest in the top-ranked brand for Malaysia! Apparently, Malaysians love to shop and it is through this application. Lazada, it’s biggest competitor is nowhere to be seen within the list.

After Shopee, Milo – the chocolate drink – comes in second followed by WhatsApp, then YouTube, which placed third and fourth this year, respectively. Google, Nescafé, Kit Kat, Maggi, Dettol and Mcdonald’s also made it to the top 10 brands for 2022 as well. It’s interesting to note half of the top 10 list belong to F&B.

YouGov also made an additional rank for brands that show the most improvement. Unsurprisingly, DuitNow is the most improved brand this year! Which explains why we are now able to go cashless at every small roadside stall or distinguished restaurants, because most of them offer DuitNow payments!

If you’re wondering, the rankings are based on the YouGov BrandIndex, which measures the overall health of a brand including Impression, Quality, Value, Satisfaction, Recommend, and Reputation metrics. So, rest assured, these brands are the best of the best!
