Just recently, Aston Martin Racing Asia launched an event tribute for the exhilarating i8 Vantage GT4. The launch featured an exclusive look (and feel) at the i8 Vantage GT4 held at Sepang International Circuit right here in Malaysia.
The Aston Martin i8 Vantage GT4 made its first official appearance in Bangkok at the 2022 Thailand Super Series. Together with Malaysian driver Adam Khalid at the wheel, the duo managed to finish third place in the GTC Production Class at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Bangkok.
It’s not surprising how “Rookie Of The Year” Adam Khalid, was able to accomplish such notable feats in such a short time period of time. With more than 20 podium finishes and victories in his racing career, 24-year-old Adam has already made a spectacular climb in Asian auto racing. Now together with the Aston Martin i8 Vantage GT4, he is practically unstoppable!
The Aston Martin i8 Vantage GT4 was built to endure the rigorous demands of a racetrack. With a bigger 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and upgraded suspension, it offers more performance and a better aerodynamic package. Let’s see how they’ll do at the next race in December.
During the event, attendees got a chance to see the i8 Vantage GT4 up close and personal. Some lucky ones even got the opportunity to ride shotgun alongside Aston Martin Racing Asia Team Principal Weiron Tan in the i8 Vantage GT4 around the circuit.
Additionally, to further commemorate the i8 Vantage GT4’s historic debut in the Thailand Super Series, one lucky winner will receive complete ownership of an actual Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and enrolment in the Racing Training Experience Program, along with other prizes worth up to USD $1,000,000.
