While we might moan and groan about it, there’s no denying that exercise has its benefits. Most of us know that exercising helps keep us healthy. However, it has done so much more than that for Taiwanese artist Liang Wen Yin (梁文音) aka Rachel Liang!
Wen Yin has been working on staying fit for the past two years. In fact, her latest album “Treat Her Well (好好對待她)” celebrates her journey on being fit! There is a reason for that, however. Wen Yin recently shared that exercising has done wonders for her mental health and has given her a boost in being confident about her body.
The 35-year-old singer shared in a recent interview that the epidemic had been the catalyst for change in her life. “Thanks to the epidemic, these (past) few years have been the best opportunity to face myself,” Wen Yin said. “(And) slowly finding a comfortable way to get along with yourself is also a (plus).” The artist had spent most of her time exercising and working on her body.
Wen Yin added that exercise was a good way to lift one’s mood. “It wasn’t until everyone said that my figure had improved that I realised I had become a bodybuilder,” Wen Yin reportedly stated. “Now, (when) I look (into) the mirror, (I feel) satisfied and happy. (It’s not just) changes in my body. My heart is also open and more accepting.”
In fact, the artist recently took to her socials to flaunt her curves! In light of her latest album “Treat Her Well”, Wen Yin has been posting pics of her hard-earned figure. One photo in particular left netizens marvelling. It showed her wearing a denim crop jacket and a pair of loose jeans. Noticeably enough, Wen Yin was not wearing a top, which left her pectoral muscles and cleavage on full display.
The sight left netizens singing praises. Several commented that she looked beautiful with others complimenting her for being hot. One said, “(You’re getting) more and more sexy. It turns out that fitness makes you (look) better.” In another post, others were comparing her to Beyoncé and claiming she was “the Taiwanese version of Betty Silk“.
Aside from exercising weekly, Wen Yin stated that she maintained her model-esque figure by watching her diet. “(I) eat less carbohydrates and eat sweet potatoes and pumpkin for starch,” she explained. “I don’t count calories. If (I) only eat one meal a day, I will drink a high protein supplement.”
Well, Wen Yin’s physical change is certainly an inspiration! We wish her well in maintaining her amazing figure and look forward to seeing more of it on her socials. It’s certainly one way to spice up our day and give us motivation to exercise too!
