AirAsia is pretty much well-known among the public as one of the leading low-cost airlines in Asia. That being said, the company has also experienced its fair number of criticisms from their clients.
Over the weekend, Malaysian TV host Maria Tunku Sabri shared with her followers about her experience flying with AirAsia. In her post, Maria was left feeling dismayed after learning that her flight was delayed for three hours!

“There’s always (a) delay, even during (an) emergency. Please don’t fly with AirAsia. They always delay their flights by an hour, two hours, and in the end, three hours. Forever delay. That’s so disappointing AirAsia,” Maria wrote. “AirAsia has a new name, DelayAsia.”
Many netizens took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the matter. Most of them appeared to agree with Maria’s point. “Oh dear, that’s quite a long time. If it’s urgent, just don’t travel with AirAsia. The tickets are very expensive. I only buy the tickets during promotional seasons, it’s cheaper. I still can accept it (then) if they delay their flights,” one netizen named @farahnurshahana wrote.
Another commenter on IG, known as @lunaluvsapple, also relayed the same sentiment in regard to the flights’ prices. She expressed, “AirAsia is so annoying. At this point, the price of the tickets should have been the same with the price of bus tickets.” Read their comments here:
