Remember that “Spongebob Squarepants” episode where they had to brave a storm to deliver food? You’d think no one would be crazy enough to do that in real life but that’s actually what our food delivery riders have to deal with on a daily basis. No matter the situation, our riders will do their absolute best to make sure your meal will arrive at your doorstep.
Previously, we had a young rider braving through a storm in the middle of the night to deliver a teacher’s meal. Prior to that, we even had an OKU rider having to climb up all the way to the 17th floor despite customers being aware of their condition. Make way for another hardworking rider as this one went through an actual flood to make sure a meal is delivered.

The weather hasn’t been great recently and terrible floods have happened due to it. The people’s traumatising experiences from last year’s disaster made them more prepared this time around but it doesn’t necessarily make things easier. One would obviously need food to survive and thanks to this rider hero, these people got what they needed.
A video posted by @echa.cha_ on TikTok showed a foodpanda rider braving a flood in a village to deliver food to the user’s house. “Thank you to this [foodpanda] rider for delivering our meal despite the flood,” the user captioned. In the video, we can see that the rider’s motorcycle barely made it through the water as it was almost completely engulfed. Luckily for the man, he managed to reach the customer’s house safely.
The content creator even jokingly encouraged people to look him up to see if the rider was still single. Netizens praised the rider for not just his bravery, but his persistence to deliver the food despite the terrible flood. Some were surprised that the rider was willing to get his motorcycle damaged to do his job.

It is currently unknown where this incident took place but regardless, we should appreciate our hardworking riders for their services so that the people won’t go starving during rain or shine. Consider giving your riders a token of appreciation the next time you order.
