Can you imagine eating a whole rotisserie chicken every day, for 40 days straight? Well, this man from Philadelphia has pretty much just done exactly that!
31-year-old Alexander Tominsky garnered massive attention online after he successfully completed an unusual feat in which he ate an entire rotisserie chicken for 40 consecutive days. According to reports, Tominsky kicked off the bizarre food challenge on 28th September.

Since then, Tominsky would go on to share daily updates on the challenge with his followers on social media. He eventually capped off the chicken run on 6th November at an abandoned pier along the Delaware river. As seen in photos posted online, hundreds of people gathered around the area to cheer him on, calling him “Chicken Man”. Tominsky’s post, in which he celebrated the 40th meal, has since received more than 150k likes on Twitter.
“I just started buying a chicken every day. I would take a picture of just the chicken. There was like a sort of electric energy about it. It just felt right to do so I just kept doing it,” Tominsky, who is a waiter at the local steakhouse Barclay Prime, told BBC about the eating challenge. The man ultimately kept his word by eating an entire rotisserie chicken every day for the past six weeks.

Despite the outstanding achievement, Tominsky revealed that he has no plans to repeat the feat and would not encourage others in doing the same. “I will never eat another rotisserie chicken,” he told Newsweek. “It’s not fun and your body will not be happy. Be prepared to be uncomfortable.”
