Recently, a male reporter in Chile was speaking to the audience about the rising crime rate in the area he was in when suddenly, a little parrot perched on his shoulder, much to his surprise. Being the professional he is, the reporter, Nicolas Krumm continued reporting while also trying not to scare the bird too much.
Unfortunately for him, the rising crime rate he was talking about turned out to be true as this bird was probably one of the perpetrators. The adorable creature saw the opportunity and took the reporter’s left AirPod from his ear while he was distracted. The Chilean man tried to take his AirPod back only for the bird to fly away with it. Nicolas still kept his composure and finished off his report.
Much to the audience’s amusement, the camera kept on rolling and we can see the reporter and his photographer trying to get his possession back by chasing after the parrot. The live news report went viral on social media and here are some of favourite reactions from netizens:
According to CBS Boston, it was reported that the Chilean journalist, fortunately, managed to get his left AirPod back moments after they ended the live broadcast. There is currently no info on whether the avian criminal has been arrested for his daring crime in broad daylight.
