Hong Kong singer Joey Yung (容祖兒) is currently in Malaysia for her upcoming concert “Love In Genting”, which was postponed in 2020 to 5th November this year. Recently, she was spotted at The Gasket Alley in PJ, and to the surprise of many, Joey was not swarmed by fans while there. In fact, she managed to have a nice day out for herself!
Joey arrived in Malaysia on 1st November with her mom and crew in tow. The artist allegedly arrived days earlier than her performance on 5th November in order to relax and take a short break. As such, she’s been wandering around KL, exploring and trying new things here.

Yesterday (2nd November), Joey took a trip to The Gasket Alley in PJ, presumably to enjoy a day out. However, she was spotted by a fan, who was also in the area. The fan reportedly told China Press that Joey was there at around 4pm. She had been dressed in a long-sleeved purple top and a floral pinafore dress.
Joey had been taking photos there, courtesy of her crew, before they retired to a coffee shop to enjoy a drink. “They happened to be sitting next to us at the time,” the fan reportedly explained. “Joey noticed I was photographing her, but she didn’t (seem upset). When she made eye contact with us, Joey even smiled at me!”
Aside from that brief interaction, the artist apparently had a lovely time visiting the various shops there. She also removed her mask for a selfie at one point, but was not approached by anyone. In fact, the fan recounted that the only person who seemed to recognise her, aside from themselves, was the waiter who served the group. “No one (came) to disturb her,” they stated.

Well, we’re certainly glad Joey had a nice, peaceful time exploring The Gasket Alley! We sincerely hope the artist continues to enjoy her stay in Malaysia. And, of course, we look forward to seeing her in concert soon!
