Turning thirty can be a milestone for some. Most would usually celebrate it with friends, family, maybe some cake. But, local content creator Gatita Yan (Tong Lee Yan) has decided to splurge on herself instead!
Gatita recently turned thirty on 26th October. However, instead of showing off a dazzling party, Gatita decided to display what she got for herself as a gift. Her lavish present of a luxury BMW car has since garnered mixed reactions from fans and netizens.
Gatita’s latest video, posted on 27th October on her socials, showed her with her brand new BMX iX car. The OnlyFans creator could be seen testing out her car keys, sharing its exterior and interior while looking very pleased. “Yay~” Gatita captioned. “(Give) yourself a “21-year-old” birthday gift.” Her new car reportedly cost about RM400,000.
The influencer added that she had nothing inspirational to say for her birthday. “I just hope that I live happily, that the people around me are all well. Of course, I have to work hard to make money, stay healthy, keep drinking, keep being cute, keep giving more to those who hate me, (don’t like) me,” she wrote. “Of course, the most important thing is, thank you for continuing to like me and love me. So grateful!”
Most were quick to leave their birthday wishes in the comments, congratulating Gatita on turning thirty. Some expressed confusion about her “gift (for a) 21-year-old”. However, others seemingly weren’t as kind. Still, Gatita took the time to respond to those comments with a Instagram Story.
“(To) those who asked me if I have filed a tax return, don’t worry so much about me, if I can post this, it means I have done what I need to do!” she reassured. “And (for) those who have been wildly questioning my industry, please continue to question (it). It is my task to make your eyes uncomfortable.” Gatita made it clear that their opinions didn’t matter to her.
