Rapper and entrepreneur Caprice has been in hot waters lately. Known for his takes on viral social issues, the rapper was heavily criticised by netizens for his reactions to a certain hypermarket tweeting an indirect joke involving the Malaysian celeb.
With all the drama and attention surrounding the 34-year-old recently, netizens began to wonder if something is troubling him behind the scenes. Many were concerned for his mental health and speculated something was wrong. Here’s what a medical officer had to say about Caprice’s mental state:

Medical Officer Sabri Matsain or @xscout84 on TikTok posted a video giving his opinion on what he believes is the current state of Caprice’s mental health. In the video above, the physician apparently diagnosed the entrepreneur with Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD), a disorder where an individual craves an unhealthy amount of attention, which he claimed to fit Caprice’s personality and behavioural description.
The medical officer further clarified that the disorder is still being studied by psychology experts and that everyone has this attention-seeking personality to a certain extent but not enough to be diagnosed as a disorder. After the video went viral with over 300k views, Caprice fired back at the officer in an IG video. The father-of-one criticised Sabri for diagnosing him purely based on his videos, calling it unprofessional and unethical.
In the video posted yesterday (Monday, 24th October), the “Koyak” artist called the medical officer out and even revealed that he has actually been seeing a psychiatrist for anxiety and insomnia since he was 18. However, to give the officer the benefit of the doubt, the 34-year-old agreed to get tested for HPD. “To the officer, if you’re wrong, you have 24 hours to give everyone in your comments section free Panadol,” he said.
Fans and followers seemed to agree with Caprice on the medical practitioner’s public diagnosis (as seen in the comments above) saying that a professional cannot properly diagnose someone with mental illness through only watching videos of the individual. After posting the first video, Sabri Matsain posted a follow-up to clarify that his intention was to bring awareness to the lesser-known disorder.
There is currently no info on whether or not Caprice has actually seen a psychiatrist for HPD. In other news, the outspoken celeb is currently helping to bring justice to victims who have been sexually harassed by a famous preacher.
