This doesn’t just apply to women but people of all sexes, races, and religions. Unfortunately for this TikToker, danger came at him during a very unexpected time. The video started off with the TikToker telling viewers about his journey from MRT Kajang to KL Sentral. Along the way, the TikToker had to use the toilet so he stopped by the toilet at Pasar Seni station. As he was about to leave the toilet after finishing his business, he was stopped by a random man.
“He came up to me and said ‘Wow, you are very good looking.’ and I was like ‘(Awh) thank you, that’s nice!’ Then he tried to make conversation with me as I was walking back to the LRT station. He was like ‘Woah, woah, woah, where are you from?’ and I said ‘I am from Sarawak,‘” he added, then explained a little more about his origins.
The unknown man then asked the TikToker whether he knew of a particular massage called a ‘ Urut Batik’ massage. The content creator replied by saying that he has never heard of that and that he can’t help with any massage because he’s not good at it.
The unknown man then started gesturing towards his stomach saying “Please, I’m feeling very uncomfortable. My stomach, it’s painful.” The Sarawakian then suggested the man get professional help because it looked serious, but the man was still insistent on getting a massage from him.
“At one point, he kept [rubbing his stomach], so I asked ‘Which part is the most painful?’ He pointed to his penis. He didn’t take off his pants, but he pointed towards his penis.” The TikToker also added that the man had an aroused look on his face during their conversation. This was enough of a red flag and the TikToker firmly said no and asked him to leave.
Scrolling through the comments section, many netizens are concerned about his general welfare – asking if he’s okay and advising him not to be too friendly with strangers. Many netizens also took the opportunity to share their own stories of sexual harassment, showing that this could happen to anyone. One netizen even pointed out that sexual harassment doesn’t always happen to women, but to men too.
Ethan ended the video by advising everyone to stay clear of anyone suspicious and to always be in crowded places when they’re out. Just because someone looks innocent, doesn’t mean they are. Stay safe everyone!
