A female Toyota Fortuner driver was recently arrested by police after videos of her driving recklessly went viral. It’s understood that the incident took place at the Tebrau Highway in Johor Bahru.
As seen in the footage of the road rage incident shared by FB user Puteri Tasha, a white Toyota Fortuner driver was seen attempting to overtake the Perodua Axia in front of her while on the road. Puteri admitted she was in the wrong for driving slow on the right lane and gave space for the driver to overtake her car. But, the woman decided to stop her car in front of Puteri in the middle of the road!

Puteri also took to her Facebook to detail the scary incident. In her post, she revealed that her car was almost rammed by a trailer. It’s also understood that the speed limit on the highway is 80 km/h. “My daughter was sleeping at the back seat. When I entered the middle lane, the (Fortuner) driver followed behind me closely, before she suddenly braked her car in the middle of the road. The lorry was speeding, and it almost rammed into my car,” Puteri said.
As per Berita Harian’s report, the driver of the mid-sized SUV was later arrested by the police. The 40-year-old woman was arrested in Johor Bahru on Friday (14th October), at 8:33pm. She also tested negative after taking a urine test and was not under the influence of alcohol. According to Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief, ACP Raub Selamat, the investigation confirmed that the driver had deliberately stopped her car, causing the Perodua Axia driver behind her to stop.
