The Korean entertainment scene is overfilled with artistes excelling in every category, from singing, dancing, and even all the way to acting. With many K-Pop idols making their debut each year, the K-Pop industry has seen its fair share of idol siblings.
It’s also worth mentioning that each and every of these stars have also reached immense success in their own way despite sharing the same spotlight, proving that talent do runs in the blood! Check out the full list of famous K-pop siblings you need to know here:
1. Jessica & Krystal Jung
- Age: 32 (Jessica), 28 (Krystal)
- Jessica is a former member of Girls’ Generation. Recently, she participated in the survival show “Sisters Who Make Waves”, where she eventually placed second place and debuted in the group X-Sister.
- Krystal (real name Jung Soo Jung) debuted as a member of f(x) back in 2009. She’s also famous as an actress, having acted in a string of dramas such as “The Heirs”, “My Lovely Girl”, “Search” and “Crazy Love”.
2. Jeongyeon & Gong Seung Yeon
- Age: 26 (Jeongyeon), 29 (Seung Yeon)
- Jeungyeon is a member of the famous girl group TWICE. She was also in the lineup of JYP Entertainment’s forgotten group known as 6MIX.
- Gong Seung Yeon used to be a trainee under SM Entertainment, where she trained alongside the members of Red Velvet. She’s now gained fame as an actress, best known for her roles in K-Dramas such as “Introverted Boss”, “Are You Human?”, “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency”, and “Bulgasal”.
3. Thunder (Cheon Dung) & Sandara Park
- Age: 32 (Thunder), 38 (Sandara)
- Thunder was a former member of the now-defunct group MBLAQ.
- Sandara was a member of the YG Entertainment group 2NE1. Following the group’s disbandment, Dara continues to appear in various variety shows.
4. Doyoung & Gong Myung
- Age: 26 (Doyoung), 28 (Gong Myung)
- Doyoung is a member of the group NCT, in their sub-unit NCT U and NCT 127. The group recently came back with their fourth full album “2 Baddies”.
- Gong Myung was a member of the Fantagio Entertainment boy group 5urprise. However, he has been more successful as an actor.
5. Lee Chaeyeon & Chaeryeong
- Age: 22 (Chaeyeon), 21 (Chaeryeong)
- Both Chaeyeon and Chaeryeong participated in “K-pop Star” season 3 and JYP’s survival show “Sixteen”.
- They eventually debuted separately in other groups – Chaeyeon being in (now-disbanded girl group) IZ*ONE, while Chaeryeong is currently in ITZY.
6. AKMU
- The brother-sister duo consists of Lee Soo Hyun and Lee Chan Hyuk. They are the winners of “K-pop Star 2”.
- Also known as Akdong Musicians.
- As Chan Hyuk plays the guitar and sings, and Soo Hyun in charge of the vocals, they successfully became famous stars in the K-Pop industry and show no sign of stopping.
7. Xion & Dongmyeong
- Relationship: Twins (Both Xion and Dongmyeong are 22 this year!)
- Xion made her K-pop debut a member of ONEUS. Their most recent comeback was with the song “Same Scent”, taken from their eight EP “Malus”.
- Dongmyeong is the keyboardist of the boy band ONEWE. He also participated in the survival shows “Produce 101” season 2 and “The Unit” prior to his official debut.
8. Taeyang & Dong Hyun Bae
- Age: 34 (Taeyang), 39 (Hyun Bae)
- Taeyang is best known among fans as a member of the legendary group BIGBANG. He’s also dubbed as Korea’s “Prince of R&B” due to his top tier singing and dancing skills.
- His elder brother, Dong Hyun Bae, is an actor who has extensive filmography and experience in television and musicals.
9. Kim Jae Kyung & Kim Jae Hyun
- Age: 34 (Jae Kyung), 28 (Jae Hyun)
- Jaekyung first debuted as a member of the group Rainbow. After the group disbanded, she ventured into acting, with some her notable works include “The Secret Life Of My Secretary” and “The Devil Judge”.
- Jaehyun debuted as a member of FNC Entertainment’s boy band N.Flying. He also acted in a few TV series such as “Modern Farmer” and the Japanese series “Kimi to Sekai ga Owaru Hi ni”.
10. Zico & Woo Tae Woon
- Age: 30 (Zico), 32 (Tae Woon)
- Zico is well-known among fans as the rapper and also the leader of the hip-hop boy group Block B. His younger brother Taewoon is a former member of the boy group Speed and the co-ed group Coed School. In 2015, he joined MillionMarket as a music producer under the monicker ₩uNo.
11. Han Sun Hwa & Han Seung Woo
- Age: 32 (Sunhwa), 28 (Seung Woo)
- Han Sun Hwa is a former member of the girl group Secret. She’s also an amazing actress who has appeared in various dramas, including “Backstreet Rookie” and “Work Now, Drink Later”.
- Her brother, Seung Woo, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, actor. He’s a former member of the project group X1 and is current member of the boy group VICTON.
12. Huening Siblings
- Age: 22 (Lea Navvab Huening), 20 (Huening Kai), 18 (Huening Bahiyyih)
- Lea was the main dancer, the vocalist, and the youngest member of VIVA. She’s also a social media influencer and model.
- Huening Kai, the middle sibling, is currently a member of the boy group TXT, where he’s the youngest in the group.
- Their younger sister, Bahiyyih, joined the survival show “Girls Planet 999” in 2021. She ranked second place in the show and became a member of Kep1er earlier this year.

13. Moonbin & Moon Sua
- Age: 24 (Moonbin), 23 (Sua)
- Moonbin debuted as a member of Astro in 2016. Prior to his K-pop debut, he began his career as a child model and actor. In 2006, he starred in TVXQ’s “Balloons” MV as the younger version of U-Know Yunho.
- His sister also entered the Hallyu scene at a young age. She joined YG Entertainment in 2009 at the age of 10, and left the agency in 2019 after a decade. She is now a member of the girl group Billie, under Mystic Entertainment.
14. Lee Sungyeol & Lee Daeyeol
- Age: 31 (Sungyeol), 29 (Daeyeol)
- Sungyeol first debuted as a member of Infinite back in June 2010 under Woollim Entertainment. Before joining Woollim, he trained as an actor under SM Academy.
- Daeyeol debuted as a leader of the Woollim boy group Golden Child in August 2017. He’s currently completing his mandatory military service.
15. Yuna & Seoyul
- Age: 30 (Yuna), 25 (Seoyul)
- Yuna was a member of AOA. She left the entertainment industry and became a full-time yoga instructor.
- Seoyul previously appeared on Mnet’s “The Voice Kids” back in 2013. She was added in the lineup of the group BerryGood in 2015. The group sadly disbanded last year, after the group members’ contracts expired.
