When it comes to clothes, it’s all about the style. And as most people know, everyone has their own style which fits best! Unfortunately, this does mean there are some styles which some people can’t wear. Take actress Zhou Dongyu (周冬雨) for instance.
The 30-year-old actress has been attempting to show off her sexier side. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees with her new style, mainly because they feel her body shape does not fit the clothes. Needless to say, netizens haven’t exactly been kind in letting her know.
Dongyu showed off her latest style at a recent fashion event. She was wearing a black halter top paired with a short skirt and a tulle train. Some noted that she didn’t seem too comfortable in the clothes either. Apparently, as she exited the car, Dongyu covered her chest with her hands and tugged on the halter as she walked.
While the dress was meant to highlight and accentuate the wearer’s curves, several claimed it did not have that effect for Dongyu. Some pointed out that Dongyu was lacking in the chest-to-hip ratio, which made her look like “a child stealing an adult’s clothes“. Additionally, Dongyu’s sneakers did not help with the imagery. Netizens also placed an image of a model wearing the same outfit beside Dongyu’s to drive their point home.
This allegedly isn’t the first time the actress has been criticised for her style. Netizens have been puzzled by her sexy dressing as she is fairly petite with a baby face. Some have even wondered what she and her stylist were thinking!
