Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) is considered one of the OG K-pop boybands. Debuted in 2005, the group earned a legendary rank among fans today. We remember the days when everyone danced and sang along to hits like “Bonamana”, “Sorry, Sorry” and “Mr. Simple”. While newer groups are taking over the K-pop scene nowadays, Super Junior will always be a fan favourite.
Last night, the legendary boyband took the stage at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil. Malaysian ELFs were over the moon when they got to see their idols performing their chart-topping hits. However, fans got to see a little more than just their dance moves as 2 members showed some skin while performing.
A fan among the audience posted her fancam of member Choir Siwon (최시원) on Instagram when the group performed “Everyday”. We can hear the audience having the time of their lives seeing the boys performing on stage but what they didn’t expect was when Siwon took off his white shirt at the end of the performance and showed off his abs.
Fans screamed at the top of their lungs at the sight of the singer’s muscular body. After hyping up the audience, the 36-year-old was then seen picking up and putting on a blue denim jacket (minus the shirt) for the next song “Wonderboy”. After the video was posted, the K-pop idol actually commented on the fan’s post with the “🔥🔥🔥” emojis.
ELFs couldn’t contain their excitement when the idol’s shirtless body trended on social media. Many were super jealous of those who attended the Super Junior concert to witness Siwon’s hot body right in front of their eyes.
As you can see from the comments, Siwon wasn’t the only Super Junior member who was seen shirtless. After the group’s performance of a rock version of their hit “Bonamana”, leader Leeteuk (이특) (who was barely covered throughout the song) was seen running across the stage while taking off his shirt and throwing it into the air at the end of the song.
To quote an attendee, Super Junior served a full meal and fans ate it up 😉
