Dato’ Seri Mahadi Badrul Zaman has apparently found himself in hot water! The husband to local celeb Datin Seri Heliza Helmi was recently accused of scamming others with his “Dato’ Seri” title.
For those who are curious, the shocking claim was made by Facebook user Bomoh Bursa. In his post, he claimed that Mahadi had been using a fake “Dato’ Seri” title. That said, it appears that the netizen didn’t provide any other evidence to prove his point.
“Heliza Helmi’s husband has been exposed to scamming his Datukship title! The case is similar to the lawyer representing Siti Bainun known as Farhan. They’re bringing nothing but shame,” Bomoh Bursa wrote on their Facebook. At the time of writing (Thursday, 29th September), the post has been flooded with over 800 reactions from local netizens.
Many took to the comments section to put the wealthy businessman on blast. To quote one netizen, “I feel bad for Heliza. It looks like she has been fooled,” one netizen expressed. In addition, there were also a few netizens who poked fun at his religious appearance. “Those with long beards are not necessarily honest,” one FB user argued.
