Is trouble brewing for internet personality Caprice (real name Ariz Ramli)? Last night, it was reported that entrepreneur SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin filed a lawsuit against him. According to reports, Faisal claims that Caprice uploaded a defamatory post on his IG, linking him to the case of his ex-wife, Emilia Hanafi.
With that being said, the outspoken public figure was quick to issue his response to the legal suit. Through a post shared on his Instagram, Caprice emphasised that he will never apologise for coming up with the post. At the same time, he also stated that he’s ready to bring the case to court.
“Everyone has the right to sue. I am ready to bring this case to the court, and I’ll leave everything to my lawyer. I will not apologise and remove the video. I’ve looked back at the video that I posted, and it turns out that no defamatory statement has been made,” Caprice revealed (as per mStar).
In his updated caption, the “Abang Nak Tegur” rapper wrote, “God willing, I will always have the back of the victims out there. We will not be stopped or silenced. I was also asked to delete the video and apologise. Hmm, you are messing with the wrong person, bro.”

According to NST, SM Faisal claimed that Caprice had defamed him by uploading a defamatory post on his Instagram. In his claims, the defendant (Caprice)’s actions caused him emotional distress, in addition to getting ridiculed by the public.
The renowned businessman was charged for allegedly causing injury to his ex-wife Emilia Hanafi at a residence in Desa Sri Hartamas, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur between 12:30pm and 4:30pm on 22nd November 2015.
