IVE member Jang Wonyoung (장원영) sparked quite a fuss online over her concerning physical conditions following her appearance on the Mnet music show “M Countdown”. A lot of fans of the girl group have expressed their concerns about the female idol’s paper-thin physique.
The girls performed their new single “After Like” on an episode of “M Countdown”. During the performance, Wonyoung wore a fiery red crop top, with her long black hair styled in loose ponytails. That said, it appears that a lot of people were more focused on her alarmingly thin figure.
The replies space has been flooded with tons of remarks from netizens, who mostly pointed out their concerns about Wonyoung’s health. To quote one fan on YouTube, “I’m so worried, you can literally see her spine sticking out at this point. She is so dangerously underweight. I don’t understand how you can look at her and say she’s perfectly healthy and at a normal weight and not feel guilty. This isn’t a hate comment, I’m genuinely so concerned for her. Health should come first.”
Others also brought up the former Iz*One member’s remark about her slim physique. The former IZ*ONE said (as per KBIZoom’s report), “People didn’t know how I was managing everything. They’d say I don’t gain weight even if I eat, and think I have a different constitution. But everyone will be surprised when they learn how I maintain my body.”
