To commemorate Malaysia’s 65th National Day, these malls are more than ready to accommodate your patriotic spirit with incredible new activities, exhibitions, workshops, and performances, all designed to provide you with the best Merdeka experience this year.

1. Fahrenheit88: Warisan Merdeka 

Date: Now until 30th September

Fahrenheit88 proudly presents “Warisan Sudir: Tribute to Asia’s No.1 Entertainer, inspired by the Malaysian singer and songwriter—the late Dato’ Sudirman bin Haji Arshad. You will get the chance to browse through authentic Sudirman memorabilia inclusive of his music album posters, comics, performance costumes and other personal artifacts.

Join the Merdeka Fun with various activities like the Merdeka Xplorace, Merdeka Vespa Convoy, Anak-Anak Merdeka Celebration and a series of workshops such as Batik Painting, Nail Art and Face Painting and Comic Drawings. 2. Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang: Merdeka & Malaysia Day Sale

Mitsuit Outlet Park has exciting news! The mall has announced an exclusive sale for their customers to enjoy in conjunction with the Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations, which are just around the corner. Don’t miss out on the Cultural Dance and Teh Tarik Performance, as well as the fun Ceper Game Challenge!

4. Intermark Mall: Malaysia Book of Records ‘Biggest Malaysia Map Jigsaw Puzzle’

Date: Now until 18th September

Inspired by the Merdeka theme, ‘Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama,’ Puzzle Planet, Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur, and Intermark Mall came together to celebrate the Malaysia Book of Records recognition of ‘The BIGGEST MALAYSIA JIGSAW PUZZLE MAP.’

The 15ft by 7ft puzzle map is made up of 48,000 blank waterproof jigsaw puzzle canvas pieces, sketched and coloured to perfection by 23 talented students from Taylor’s International School. But wait! 6. Alamanda Shopping Centre and Mesra Mall: Merdeka Campaign

Date: 31st August – 11th September (Alamanda Shopping Centre), 26th August – 16th September (Mesra Mall)
