Perhaps there’s still hope for this world. Sometimes we get too hung up on everything negative that’s been going on that we tend to forget about the good things. We’ve met many good people in the past like that KFC manager who returned a man’s bank card or that TikToker who feeds stray dogs at the airport.
While many public figures usually display their “fake” kindness online for clout or to gain popularity, there are also those who do it without feeling the need to boast about it. And it always warms out hearts when we come across these random acts of kindness. Jin Lim or Jinnyboy shared his story of how this woman recently helped pay for his drink.

Famously known as Jinnyboy, the content creator posted on his Twitter 2 days ago (Sunday, 17th July) sharing a story of what happened to him while he was out cycling. The 37-year-old went cycling trying to hit his personal best before he stopped by a Petronas station to rest and get a drink to keep himself hydrated.
Unfortunately, he forgot to bring his wallet and offered to pay for the drink via QR payment but the Petronas staff told him that they don’t accept QR payment and instead asked for a Touch N Go e-wallet. Disappointed and not being able to buy his drink, he decided to just head out when suddenly a woman offered to pay for his drink.
“Boy, I’ll pay for your drink first then you can pay me back later,” she told Jin. The former Radio DJ was speechless but accepted her offer. He then transferred RM20 for a RM3.70 drink as a way to repay her kindness. “Her kindness was priceless. RM20 was the least I could do to appreciate her kindness towards me. It costs her nothing to help me out,” he said in his post.
Netizens reacted to Jin’s story with most agreeing with his last two sentences that reads, “Our country is filled with beautiful people all around. Those in power often divide us”. His story definitely warms our hearts and reminds us to always be kind to one another.
