We are always cautioned to think before we act. After all, you never know if or when your past will return to haunt you again. Unfortunately for Japanese actor Oguri Shun (小栗 旬), his skeletons have recently been dug out and put on display.
Oguri Shun endeared himself to many with his performance in dramas such as cult classics, “Meteor Garden” and “Boys Over Flowers”. He’s also known for his 10 years marriage with his wife, Yamada Yu (山田 優). However, a viral photo of him naked has recently ruined all that.

The damning photo caught Oguri with his pants down, literally. In the photo, the actor can be seen singing karaoke nude with his underwear pulled to his thighs. He isn’t alone in the picture however. Two women can be seen in the background tidying clothes while a hand reaches for his privates. The photo has led to many suspecting the married Oguri of playing with different women.
However, Oguri’s hairstyle in the photo is different from his current one. This supposedly proves that the photo is not recent. Nonetheless, this isn’t the first rumour of Oguri playing about during his marriage. Shortly after his wedding, there was plenty of talk about him seeing multiple women while his wife was pregnant. He also reportedly had an orgy and was supposedly addicted to sex.
Regardless of when it happened, there’s no denying that the photo has damaged Oguri’s image. Fans have been bemoaning and predicting the actor’s downfall. Additionally, several are wondering what will become of Oguri’s role in his recent drama, “The 13 Lords of the Shogun” as the screenwriter has reportedly claimed he will not accept any actors who cause problems.

Currently, neither Oguri nor his agency has remarked on the issue. However, according to China Press, Oguri’s agency had released a statement prior to the exposure. The agency had supposedly warned legal action against anyone who damaged the reputation of their artists.
Well, we can’t always change what has happened in the past. But there is always hope to make ourselves better for the future.
