As a result, Mr. Hashman Don, owner of the charitable organisation Amanah (Anugerah Mahligai Arah Nasib Abadi Haiwan) revealed that they are willing to take care of all of Adibah’s pets. “There’s no problem at all if all the 40 cats belonged to the late Adibah want to take shelter in Rumah Amanah, Hulu Langat, Selangor,” he wrote in his Facebook post on Saturday (18th June).
“The first, and also the most important condition is that the owner of the cats had already passed away. The heir can drop me a DM. They don’t have to pay anything, they don’t have to feed the cats every month. The shelter is also open for the public every Sunday from 2:30 to 6:30pm,” Mr. Hashman added in his post.
At the time of writing (Monday, 20th June), the social media posting has been shared over 4.1k times online. Many netizens also expressed their interest in helping and donating to Rumah Amanah. In response to this, Mr. Hashman commented, “To those who have asked for our bank account, I’m really sorry. For now, let our team handle the deceased’s pet cats first. I’m only willing to accept, I’m not sure if the heirs are willing to take care of the cats.” He later clarified that the shelter house had never asked for donations in public before this.
