The public can now get free RapidKL rides for a whole month starting Thursday (16th June). This was announced by Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri in conjunction with the launch event of MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 1 yesterday (16th June).
The promo applies to all RapidKL public transportation – the MRT, LRT, BRT, Monorail, and the RapidKL bus. However, for customers – especially My50 travel pass holders – it might be confusing on how they can enjoy this 30-day free ride service when many have already purchased the monthly plan.

Open to all customers – new and existing ones – starting from 16th June until 15th July, they are advised to register on the MyRapid PULSE (PULSE by Prasarana) mobile application to claim the Rapid KL 30-Day Free Ride. Alternatively, they may fill up the hardcopy form before entering the gates at the train station.
This includes customers using tokens, which they need to redeem at any Rapid KL Customer Service Offices. Customers who opt to go cashless with the My50 pass, Touch ‘N Go card, and Concession card need to fill up the form in MyRapid PULSE or fill up the hardcopy form before entering the gates.

Those who had already purchased My50 on 16th June can claim the 30-day free ride between 23rd July and 25th July only after the current pass fully expires. Existing My50 subscribers whose pass expires between 17th June and 15th July may enjoy the promo on the next My50 purchase by claiming the free ride the following day after the pass has expired.

A minimum of RM5 must still be maintained in the My50 pass, Touch ‘N Go card, and concession card to enter and ride any RapidKL rail or bus services. Additionally, the sales of Keluarga Malaysia Pass (KMP), MyCity Pass 1-day, and MyCity Pass 3-day will be held from 16th June to 15th July.
