There’s a saying that the grass is always greener on the other side. Maybe that’s why we should always encourage looking at the world through someone else’s eyes.
Hong Kong actress Samantha Ko Hoi-ling (高海寧) has been busy with her filming work. However, she recently took some time to visit Malaysia. Not only did she have a good time here, Samantha got to enjoy some of our local delicacies and meet a few fans!
Samantha supposedly visited Thailand a few days ago for a short trip. However, she made sure to drop by Malaysia as she was ‘in the neighbourhood’. On 12th June, the 35-year-old came to Malaysia to visit a few places with her friend, Hilda Chan (陳曉樺).
The duo went to malls like Suria KLCC Kuala Lumpur and Mid Valley Megamall. They also stopped by the Thean Hou Temple, which is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. Samantha met a few fans there and took photos with them. It certainly produced a playful complaint from Hilda who grumbled about Samantha only taking a photo of their feet even though Hilda professed herself to be one of Sam’s fans.
Of course, it would be a shame to visit any country and not try their food. Samantha certainly made sure to grab her fill! She shared that she had bak kut teh for her first meal in Malaysia and ended up eating mamak later. From the photo, it looked like Samantha enjoyed a good meal of roti canai and teh tarik.
Well, we hope she had a great time in Malaysia and look forward to seeing her here soon! Who knows, if you’re lucky, you may spot the former beauty queen in Malaysia again.
