Devastating news for all! Justin Bieber is taking a break while in the midst of his Justice World Tour due to his health condition. Fans were upset to hear the news when the 28-year-old took to his Instagram to reveal that half of his face has become paralysed.

In the 3-minute video uploaded on the singer’s Instagram account, he explained that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome—a virus that affects the nerves located in the ears and facial nerves. The international sensation was forced to cancel his shows in Washington DC, New York and Toronto highlighting the severity of his condition.

From the video, it can be clearly seen that the right side of the popstar’s face is paralysed as he demonstrates how he is unable to smile or use his right eye to blink. According to medical experts, the virus has the potential to cause permanent hearing loss and facial paralysis.

“I’m going to get better, I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and it will go back to normal. It’s just time, and we don’t know how much time that’s going to be, but it’s going to be OK, and I have hope,” says the Canadian-born singer. At the time of writing (Monday, 13th June), the video has over 50 million views and more than 300,000 comments of fans sending their love and prayers to the idol.

As of now, there have been no announcements on whether the Justin Bieber Live in Kuala Lumpur concert on 22nd October will be cancelled. However, netizens are concerned as the singer’s health seems to be worsening.

The only thing we can do now is pray for Justin’s speedy recovery and health. All you beliebers out there, stay strong and don’t lose hope! Otherwise, Iqbal Zulkefli might take this chance to stand in for the Canadian singer’s concert as you can see from the screenshots below. Don’t worry, he’s only joking (we think).
